Privacy policy
This policy describes what modo.us.org actually does, which is very little. It is short because the site is static, has no accounts and runs no advertising scripts.
What we do not collect
There are no forms on this site. No contact form, no newsletter signup, no comment system, no login. We therefore collect no names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details or account credentials, because there is no mechanism through which you could give them to us. We do not sell or share personal information, because we hold none to sell.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not fingerprint visitors. It reports aggregate figures — page views, referrers, country, browser and device class — with no identifier that persists between visits and no profile built about you. This is why the site shows no cookie consent banner: there is no consent to collect, because there are no tracking cookies.
Local storage
One value is stored in your browser's local storage: whether you confirmed you are 18 or older, so the age notice does not reappear on every page. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes it and the notice returns.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data — including IP addresses — to deliver pages and to protect against abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy terms. We do not retain, export or analyse those logs.
The affiliate redirect
Links marked as sponsored pass through a redirect on this domain at /go/. It
forwards campaign parameters supplied by an advertising platform — click identifiers,
campaign names, keywords — to the operator so the referral can be attributed. It sets no
cookie, stores nothing and creates no record on our side. Once you arrive at the operator's
site, their privacy policy applies and ours no longer does. See the
affiliate disclosure for how the commission works.
External links
We link to the operator and to responsible-play organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their practices. Their policies apply once you leave.
Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — which, given that we collect no personal information at all, holds for every age.
Your rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to access, delete and opt out of the sale of personal information. We hold no personal information about you, so there is nothing to access or delete, and nothing is sold. If you would like that confirmed in writing, email hello@modo.us.org.
Changes
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it. The date of the most recent change is published in the site's structured data and in its sitemap.
