Six things that are true of every title in the library, and that are worth knowing before reading anything else about strategy.
A random number generator produces each result independently. In this category it is typically certified by an independent testing house — GLI, iTech Labs or eCOGRA — which verifies that the output is random and that stated return figures hold over large samples.
Return to player describes the proportion returned across millions of rounds, not across your session. A 96% figure says nothing useful about the next hundred spins, and treating it as a session prediction is the most common misreading of it.
Two titles with identical RTP feel completely different. Low volatility pays small and often; high volatility pays rarely and large. For a free-play balance that has to last, low volatility stretches a session much further.
Each round is independent. A title that has not paid in two hundred spins is not "due", and one that just paid is not "cold". This is a property of the RNG, not a policy, and no session pattern changes it.
